Time Banking is coming to Ely

The Timebank is a time exchange where people can volunteer their skills or time to help someone else within their Timebank.
By helping someone do some gardening, walk their dog, water their plants etc. you recieve an hour’s time credit which you can then use to get something back. That may be help to write a CV, sewing repairs, someone picking up some shopping, designing a leaflet or gaining some computer skills.
Everyone’s time is equal, so one hour of my time is equal to one hour of your time, irrespective of whatever we choose to exchange.

A message from Simon Bainbridge, Head of Highfield Special School

Highfield School is one of the six area special schools in Cambridgeshire, and is located next to Ely College on Downham Road. Highfield currently has 120 pupils on roll.

Each area special school has a catchment area, similar to mainstream secondary schools and cater for pupils with a wide range of additional needs from two to nineteen years old.
